A grizzled veteran known for his amazing strength and his all-around jovial nature who was a multi-time champion back in his younger years, but then eventually retired and settled down to start a family and open a successful pub in his native Dublin. Missing the action in the wrestling ring he makes his comeback twelve years later at his family's insistence, hoping for one last shot at glory.

Intro Sequence:

(Patrick is shown standing in the locker room as the text begins to roll.)

Narrator: After a twelve year absence from competition, former champion Patrick O'Malley makes his much awaited return for one last shot at glory.

Patrick: It's been a long time, but I've still got it in me and I'm ready to show the lads and lasses what wrestling is all about.

Entrance:

Patrick makes his way to the ring amidst the smoke and lasers, proudly waving an Irish flag.

Victory Poses:

1.) Patrick flexes his muscles while laughing heartily.
2.) Patrick wipes the sweat away from his forehead while quipping “Better luck next time, lad.”
3.) (Patrick defeats his opponent with the Ultra Slam technique) Patrick performs an Irish jig while festive Irish folk music plays in the background.

Pre-Match Quotes:

“May my boot rise up to meet you and may the lights shine upon your face when I'm done with ya'!”
“You're gonna be feelin' mighty sore when I'm through with you!”
“Now's the time for you to get a REAL lesson in pain!”

Winning Quotes:

“They keep sending me lads instead of men! When will this end?”
“The years haven't changed a thing. I've still got it!”
“Thanks for the workout, lad. You can run home to mama now!”

Losing Quote:

“Can't believe I was beaten by a mere babe like you!”

Team Win:

“Looks like today just wasn't a lucky day for either one of ya'.”

Team Loss:

“Gah! Where's all that ringin' comin' from?”

Final Boss:

(Patrick stands tall in the ring after defeating Azzam the Grinder when the SlammerTron's screen suddenly begins flashing and Hannibal's image appears, clad in full armor.)

Hannibal: You truly believe you are powerful enough to challenge me, weakling? Don't make me laugh! You are no match for me. If you truly value your life, you will turn and walk away.

Patrick: I'm on a roll like I haven't been in years and I ain't gonna let some punk in a goofy costume send me runnin' for the hills. Why don't you come down here and I'll show you what real wrestling is all about!

Hannibal: You wish to fall before the might of Hannibal? Then so be it. I have broken countless bodies to become champion and you are nothing but fresh meat to me.

Ending:

(Patrick stands in the ring flexing his muscles, the SWS World Heavyweight Championship wrapped around his waist.)

Ring Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you your new SWS World Heavyweight Champion, “The Irish Strongman” Patrick O'Malley!!!

(As Patrick celebrates his victory a blonde-haired woman enters the ring, accompanied by two children, a redheaded boy and a blonde-haired girl. The two children run over to embrace him as the woman looks on clapping.)

Patrick: Deidre! Colin! Andrea! I can't believe you were able to make it here!

Deidre: There's no way we were going to miss this, my love. We came here just for you and now I know we were right in pushing you to give it one last run.

Andrea: You did it, Papa! You beat that big nasty guy!

Colin: I knew you could do it, Pops. Congratulations!

(Patrick hoists both of his children onto his shoulders and laughs heartily as he basks in the adulation of the audience as Deidre looks on still clapping before the screen fades to black.)

Narrator: On this day a new champion was born and it's Patrick O'Malley, the rugged veteran strongman of Dublin, Ireland!

(Patrick is shown performing his second winning pose.)

Patrick: Age is just but a number. I still have it in me to have with the young pups. Keep 'em comin' and I'll gladly teach 'em all a lesson!

(Credits roll. The end.)

Random Notes:

--Patrick earned his moniker “The Irish Strongman” after he body slammed the 650 pound Scotsman Giant Angus McReary in a match very early in his career, a moment that is credited with making him a local celebrity.

--He held numerous titles early on in his career, mostly around his native Ireland and the British Isles, in addition to winning a few tournaments that took place in Germany, Belgium, France and Spain.

--Patrick knows how to play the fiddle, having learned it from his father, who played in a traveling folk band.

--'Danny Boy's' is the name of the pub owned and operated by Patrick and his wife Deidre, named in honor of his father Daniel.

--His children are Colin and Andrea. In addition, the family owns 3 dogs, 4 cats, 6 ducks, 2 goats, and a donkey named Grainne.
And now I bring you "The Irish Strongman" Patrick O'Malley, the grizzled veteran looking for another shot at glory.

Patrick is heavily inspired by WWE's Sheamus with his appearance (for the most part) and him being from Ireland.

He also draws inspiration from wrestling legend Ivan Putski with his generally jovial nature and his "Celtic Hammer" attack, which was inspired by Ivan's Polish Hammer finishing move.

I also incorporate elements of Bruno Sammartino, whose original nickname (before he became "The Living Legend") had been "The Italian Strongman." The "random note" where I explain Patrick body slamming that 650 pound man comes from a similar happening early on in Bruno's career, where he actually managed to body slam the 650 plus pound Haystacks Calhoun!!!
